I have genuine concern for Ute fans and don't want to see their inflated heads blow up any more and pop. I was listening to two the other day on trax talk about how they think Utah is legitimately underrated. I almost choked on my sugar-free diabetic lollipop. I guess with huge wins against powerhouses like Michigan, Utah State, UNLV, Wyoming, San Diego and Colorado State....oh wait, those teams have a combined record of 20-43. And I can't believe the way they blew out 4-8 New Mexico, running the score up on them 13-10.
Their only legitimate win came verses Oregon State (tied for 1st in a down year for the Pac 10 right now), my team that notoriously chokes on the road anyway and at the time was playing with a record of 1-2. They should have beat us handidly and got lucky that we choked at the end and gave the game to them with a PI call in the endzone. It's kind of like when they got lucky against TCU when that large magnetic forcefield kept two winning field goals out for the Horned Froggies.
I do have to commend Utah on their no loss record. It's tough to do in any conference. But I wish someone in Utah would admit they are OVERrated, too highly ranked and play cupcake teams and do not deserve to be in a BCS bowl game, just like other "underrated" teams like Boise State.

I think I've decided that all Utah fans aren't quite as concerned with liking Utah as much as they are about hating BYU. It's interesting to go on the D-news comments section and see a bunch of Utes on there leaving nastygrams and stuff on the BYU stories....don't they have anything better to do?

funny how you are a Utah hater and that is the only reason you are cheering for BYU and your sister is accusing all Utah fans of actually being BYU haters instead of Utah Fans. Funny how you are just the exact opposite. Irony pure Irony. But just in case you forgot because I can see you do not think about this a lot. Utah 31 Oregon 28 final score baby!
Jon, Utah didn't play Oregon this year! And I must concur with your take on the Utes, Joey. So inflated. I almost want them to make the BCS so that whoever they play will stomp all over them. Not like I hesitantly stomp on a big spider, but like how BYU beat UCLA this year. Remember that one? Cougars 38 Utah 27.
Feel the family love... GO UTES. Pac is week this year but like jon said at the end of the week a win is a win. BYU will be tuff just like Oregon State was or TCU, we still have a perfect season so dont hate on us. Utah has played well when it matters. its kinda funny we wouldnt flame you for doing well and i wouldnt hate on BYU for having a good year. doesnt mean i dont want to beat them they are our rivals. i dont go on BYU websites to flame them either so dont lump all of us together. As far as being over rated i guess we will see when it comes play off time. you can scream over rated like they did at the feista bowl in '04 and we will see who walks away with the W at the end of the game.

First off, I must say that the last comment was not me (Jon) but Briana. Secondly, to Spencer I must say that BYU beating UCLA is nothing to be proud of. I don't know if you know or not but UCLA is 4-6 this year. Yeah 4 and 6. That is 4 wins and 6 losses. At the end of the day it matters who has more wins. After all this is football not bingo at an old folks home.
And to Kevin/Andrea/Avery I am a 100% Utah fan and don't tell me that I am anything less. I am first concerned that Utah wins all their games and then secondly I want BYU to lose all their games. I don't care if BYU does good for the conference. This is the Mountain West conference after all. As a Utah Alum I will support my team all the way to ANOTHER BCS bowl game. But not that winning another BCS bowl game is our goal. This is rivalry week therefore the only thing we care about is stomping on BYU. GO UTES!!!!!!!!!!
