Kaitlyn's blessing

Kaitlyn was blessed on Sunday, March 29th. It was a special day. Thank you Grandma Susan and Aunt Brenda for your hard work on her dress! The dress is actually cut from my wedding dress fabric. I'm really glad it turned out the way it did. Kaitlyn was cute and it was certainly a meaningful day. Thanks to all who came and helped with the blessing.

Simply too cute

Life at Home with Kaitlyn

Life at home with Kaitlyn is good. It's been a bit brutal at times though...we can't lie. Beverly, Amy's Sister and Grandpa Dave, Andrea and Avery all came into town this weekend. It's been a complete lifesaver to have fam here to help. Kaitlyn weighed in at 7lbs 3 oz at the doctor last week, so that was good. Everyone has been telling us that "it will get better" and "it will get easier".......still waiting for Kaitlyn to sleep at night. That will be fun. She's cute though and we love her. Thanks to all the family help! Enjoy these pics.

7 oz in 3 days!

Good job Kaitlyn! At birth she weighed 6 lbs 9 oz, when we left the hospital she had gone to 6 lbs 1 oz and yesterday the doctor weighed her again and she'd gone up to 6 lbs 8 oz. If only we could all worry about gaining weight.

Kaitlyn at Home!

Kaitlyn is home and as far as we can tell she loves it. Thank goodness for Grandmas! Susan stayed up all night with Kaitlyn so Amy and I could sleep. We were realistically running on empty. She had her first doctors appointment today and the doc said that even though her weight was down to 6 lbs 1 oz, she looked good and should start gaining weight. Here are some pics of her coming home and some others. Amy is feeling a bit better and recovering nicely. Joey will probably never recover. We love the carseat blanket from Aunt Andrea it's colorful and It's so bright and fun. Thanks to all who have helped so far!
