Life at Home with Kaitlyn
Life at home with Kaitlyn is good. It's been a bit brutal at times though...we can't lie. Beverly, Amy's Sister and Grandpa Dave, Andrea and Avery all came into town this weekend. It's been a complete lifesaver to have fam here to help. Kaitlyn weighed in at 7lbs 3 oz at the doctor last week, so that was good. Everyone has been telling us that "it will get better" and "it will get easier".......still waiting for Kaitlyn to sleep at night. That will be fun. She's cute though and we love her. Thanks to all the family help! Enjoy these pics.

I love your hair!!! Little Ruby is lacking in that department. I hope the shower was great-sorry I missed it, I had a prior engagement. I am so excited for you and Joey. Let us know when you are blessing her.

We found a new life saver for us...a radio set to static. Lucy would be fast asleep, but when you would go to put her in the crib she would wake up. With the static on, she doesn't even have to be asleep and I can put her in the crib and she will get droopy eyed and stare for awhile and then fall asleep. It doesn't work every time, but it has seemed to help. Sometimes she will cry, but if I try again in half an hour, she will usually go to sleep. Especially at 11:00pm, when she used to stay up. We turn it on loud enough for her to hear, but we can't hear it on our room with the doors closed. Not sure if it will work for Kaitlyn, but it's worth a try. Good luck!
Kaitlyn wants more Spencer time. Spencer wants more Kaitlyn time. There's only one way to remedy. I'll see you tonight.
